The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location for visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Cute town nearby. But the best part of our stay here was Breakfast. You choose what you would like the night before and it gets served as a diner style breakfast. Well done.

I'm slightly appalled by the one rate review via Google.( maybe it was an error). I believed the lodge deserved 5 stars. The host, Karen is hospitable and we are really happy and satisfied with our one night stay here. We would probably stay for a week if we can next time. Despite far view from the ocean, the place exceeded our expectations of proving such quality accomodation. The lodge is really clean (even the ceilings with no spider webs or insects etc) and toiletries such as toothbrush, sanitary pads ( for the ladies) and wet tissues, and shampoos are all readily available. There was even a basket of fruits for us as well as milk in the fridge. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils for cookin. The place is perfect for a couple and is very quiet and private as well! It’s close to where the host stays ( right behind) so it’s convinient if you need any help. Location wise it’s perfect if you are exploring the cliffs of moher or Aran islands as strategically located near Doolin so definitely a good base if you are staying for a night or 2.
