The property is enormous. The rooms and balcony are very spacious. Both the rooms have working A/C. Hot water system available 24 hrs. The access to the property is separate. The property was spotlessly clean and insect-free. There is a lot of legroom. The hosts were friendly, helped us book early morning auto rickshaws, and were knowledgeable about our general inquiries. We took our elderly mum with us, who needed special help occasionally, and they were very forthcoming and helpful. Thanks, Dimpy for being such a wonderful host.

Sumit the owner waited for us to arrive and helped us navigate with our tuk tuk driver from the station. The location is walking distance to restaurants and temples. Room was.perfectly clean, and the AC was great! I would recommend for single travelers or couples. Wonderful and welcoming family that owns the homestay. If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.

You can get to main attractions and local market by walking 20-30 minutes, or can get there with rickshaws in 5 minutes. Family that runs guest house is very nice and welcoming. You can order home made food, made with organic veggies from their own garden. Prices are very reasonable, recommend to try dry fruits dhal and special biryani. Hot water and other necessary facilities are available. But the real gem of this house are kids - they are very cute and curious and would be happy to interact with you, if you are up to it.
