We stayed at the townhouse. It's very clean and well maintained. The hosts Santhosh and Bhaskarettan are super helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Santhosh is a tour guide too and is very knowledgeable of the whole area. The food is just expectational. Although the options are limited, everything we ate was prepared with care to meet our needs. The luscious paddy fields, serene atmosphere, and quiet and relaxing spot make this place a must stay.

We were tensed about the safety after all those issues happened at wayanad, but for my surprise, the main attractive places of wayanad, which we have visited were functioning at the peak, and safer as earlier too. I really enjoyed the stay at puzhayoram home stay, with my kids and parents. We really enjoyed breakfast provided, ie idiyappam and veg. Korma which was infact, yum and healthy. They did not forget to pack some of their happiness in the form of small home grown spice packets, which really touched our heart. The climate, that small river near by, with all its beauty especially in the dusk and down really gave us such a homely feeling, as they say... A home away from your home... Located in Chekadi and only a few steps from Kuruvadweep, Kalidasa Tree House and Villa, Wayanad provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. The owner and his recommended driver have been super helpful and kind. We absolutely recommend staying in here , specially if you want to see tigers and do safaris in Nagarhole or Bandipur. Best experience ever.

The owner of the accommodation was extremely helpful and assisted us in organizing various safaris. The place is excellent for nature-lovers and people who like to be "off the beaten trek" and prefer silences and a local experience over luxery. The food was excellent. The mother of the owner prepared delicious typical South-Indian food. We traveled with a large family, including children and some elderly members close to eighty years old. If you like to be into the nature, far away from heavy tourist industry this is a very good place to stay. The rooms were clean, the location was stunning with plenty of shaded areas, and the people exceptionally friendly. We stayed even more days than we were planning in the beginning. The owner has a jeep in which he orginased to get around to the several National Parks and places we wanted to visit. The owner organised a nice evening with barbeque and one day he caught fresch fisch close by to prepare for diner. We had an amazing time!

Tried to call many times but never picked up the phone. Finally they did, they were giving us directions with land marks like near the beverage shop take a turn! Being new to the area we had no clue where the beverage shop is. When we told them that they were rude and dropped the line! After another 15 minutes of trying, we decided to find some other place to stay.

The hosts went above and beyond, providing local tips and even organizing a private tour of their garden, pond etc. I particularly appreciated the breathtaking views and fabulous and authentic kerala breakfast every day of my 3 days stay at Bamboo Grove. Overall, the value for the price was exceptional, and I would highly recommend Bamboo Grove to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay."
