Driver was there waiting for me when I landed. Room is small but just what I needed for my stay. Also had a balcony. AC was good. Sheets and towels were clean, and a hot shower after a day of exploring.

They provided plenty of information and recommendations on where to go and what to do—from a morning boat tour to kayak and bicycle rentals, plus laundry facilities, everything you need was available. Keep in mind that the homestay is a bit remote, further from the main river, but I found this to be an advantage. It allowed me to rent a kayak and explore the small canals easily. Additionally, the homestay is within walking distance from the train station—if you choose to walk, follow the road near the temple.
