This place is great! We had a very nice stay, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. There are 3 bathrooms for the whole floor so we didn't have to wait at all to use one. Very big and well equipted kitchen. Everything is planned in a way so that guests could cook and take a shower without disturbing each other. The breakfast was also great with a lot of home made goods. Excellent stay, 10 out of 10. Thank you! We will come back!

The host sent us instructions before arrival and it was very helpful, I read lots of info about this property so I knew what to expect and I knew there wasn’t a separation between the “rooms” and it didn’t bother me. The apartment was really nice decorated and we felt very comfortable there, we made dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. The drive to this apartment was the most beautiful drive of our 10 day trip, I didn’t know we had to drive up the snowy mountain to get down to this city and it was incredible. It’s a pity it was raining when we arrived and we couldn’t go out for a walk in the village and we didn’t see the northern lights, which we were very hopeful to see the lights in this city due to its prime location.

Everything was perfect there and the apartment is exactly like shown on the pictures. We stayed there two nights during heavy snow and were the only guests. When the snow blocked the whole road, the owner asked us if we needed anything and later made sure the road is cleared. Don't miss out on Vök Baths near Egilsstadir :)
