This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

The guest house has private entrance. The cabin was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. The hot tub was such an enjoyable respite at the end of the day.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 48 km from Thingvellir National Park. IMO, this got the highest value for money, compared to all the places I have been to in Iceland. You got everything, spacious room, comfy bed, washing machine with dryer. All the kitchen utensils, equipment. Quiet place, nice and very clean room, parking right in front. Haven't actually met the host, but she always replied quickly. So I have no problem here.
