The location is great, having a great view of both the waterfall behind the property and the ocean while relaxing in the hot tub. The rooms are lovely with a large communal kitchen. If I could go back in time I'd have based more of my trip out of here. The rooms were much nicer than we expected based on the price and frankly it was a better night than the hotel twice the price down the road.

Guesthouse Bitra B&B’s simple rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. They provide views of Mount Hekla or the surrounding countryside. The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. Cute and cozy place. Great restaurant on site where you can eat with the cows and see cute kitties. Great location close to tons of sites on the golden circle!
