Spectacular view of the canyon from my front porch. Large room with large tiled shower and plenty of hot water despite being so remote. Hosts were great and really surprised this place was not full given the amazing location and value. I could not be more pleased

Marvel Hostel is outstanding. The owner was incredibly friendly and constantly ensured I was comfortable. I was the only guest at the hotel, yet he still came to cook breakfast for me. The room was spotless and cozy. If you're reading this and considering a trip to Jordan, just go. There are no tourists in Petra right now, and you'll likely never see this wonder of the world this empty again in your lifetime.

It was a lovely, clean, and spacious room in a beautiful building in a small village. Mona, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. She cooked us a very nice breakfast, and taught us about Bedouin life and history. We will come back. Highly recommend. Thank you.

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!
