Every detail on the property was meticulously thought through, the service was impeccable and the food was AMAZING! I only wished we could have stayed longer.

Got the quadruple tent site; has balcony and comfy beds and a heater. Breakfast $15 pp and supper $50 pp can be pre-ordered. It is brought to your site, and you cool it. Everything needed is provided. Showers and bathrooms are just a short walk away. You can rent a fire pit and but wood there. You can rent an e-bike for $25 pp for the entire day. Still had 70% battery by the end of the day. There is a shuttle, needs to be booked. Does not run late at night. Staff were friendly.

The accommodation features free shuttle service, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. The place is beautiful, very well kept, clean and tidy. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The onsen was amazing, water temperature was great, everything was clean and nice, I really enjoyed the outside onsen. The food was delicious, very unique with a great mix of flavors and textures. The staff was always very nice and attentive. The price is good for the location and what's included.

Takayama Old Town and Miyagawa Morning Market are a 10-minute walk, while Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village is a 10-minute drive away from Guest House Ouka. The property is a 8-minute walk from Takayama Nohi Bus Centre, where guests can take a bus to Shirakawa Village. We were extremely happy about our stay . Very spacious room, comfortable beds . The common spaces are very spacious and cozy. The location is great to walk to the center.

Rakuyu is located a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station, and a free pick-up shuttle is provided. Popular Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is a 10-minute drive away. Everything - room was way bigger than expected, with 2 full size rooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony and a sitting down area. Also, the hot tub/private onsen was way bigger than it seemed in the photos, and could easily fit 2 people at the same time. The onsen room was also way better looking than in the photos. Also, despite saying that it doesn’t serve dinner, the ‘light meals’ at the lounge are more than enough to satisfy given you can take as many as you want, and quite delicious. My favourite meals here were during the tea time though, so make sure not to miss it.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. Amazing location right next to the temple. Room so so comfy and owners were lovely.

The warm ambiance is further enhanced by local artists' paintings adorning the walls. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.
