As for the stay itself; the view is stunning, the location itself is very nearby everything you should want to see. Be sure to go to ubuyagasaki for some nice pictures of fuji, or just make some at the camp itself.

From the moment I got the keys to the room, I felt how luxurious this hotel is! The staff showed us the room, told us everything about our stay, and made tea for us, which felt like a mini ceremony, it was great! The view from the hotel roof is gorgeous with the foot bath onsen that makes it even better!! The private onsen is also very recommended if you want to go with your partner together with a romantic view :) The dinner was a real show and masterpiece, each day it was different, and it was a huge experience to us (although we don't eat much of the foods we got, we still tried them) It really felt like a 3 Michelin stars restaurant private dinner!) And lastly, there is a free shuttle to the kawaguchiko station, which was really good and we felt like VIPs on it! :)

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Everything. Best accommodation I have been in my travel's life so far.

The unit at the property features a bath and a dressing room. This holiday home is allergy-free and non-smoking. We were two families, total of 7 people with two elementary school age kids, staying for just a Saturday night to explore the five lakes by car. Our stay was perfect. Downstairs there is a lovely Japanese style dining/tea room, a living area with two sofas, a big kitchen with everything you might need, a huge bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms and another toilet. The views from the bedroom windows were beautiful. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The town centre is a short walk away, as is the train station.
