It was so nice!!! It was very spacious and so comfy! The bed was soft cuz usually hotel beds are kinda hard. The view over there was the best.

Rakuyu gave us a very good experience in our Kawaguchiko stay. Our room had the best view of the lake, the cocktails were heavy enough to replace dinner! And the shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko station made our stay easier to navigate. The private onsen was also a great experience (with a small additional cost).

Both breakfast and dinner was good. Local Sake was delicious. Staff could speak fluent English and Chinese. Service was excellent, they even help do the laundry and clean my hiking boots after I got down from Mt. Fuji.

Unforgettable. Property is in the town but for a luxury japenese experience this place is unparalleled.This super luxurious property is in the town so be aware of that . But it’s an oasis worth visiting . Escape to a world of its own . We booked a loft view room with spectacular views of Mount Fuji . The staff are amazing . Breakfast is an experience and even though we are Halaal and required a vegetarian breakfast it was no issue

Host went above and beyond by picking us up and dropping us off at the bus station and also letting us in early and leave our bags in the lobby area on the last day for us to collect later. House was very clean and well maintained.

We had a fantastic stay here and couldn't recommend it more highly!! The house is historical, spacious, and beautiful, and has been in the same family for 27 generations. The host is extremely welcoming, he kindly offered us umbrellas and drove us to see Fuji-san along the lake on our final morning. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to have a peaceful retreat to Kawaguchiko!
