fab location a short walk to restaurants bars etc but it was super quiet here and beautiful view of the river- maybe bring a torch to walk home at night though! best bed in Laos for me. Mr Mang, the owner, also runs a bunch of tours. we didn't get a chance to try one this time but he was incredibly helpful for booking bus transfer but also renting some kayaks just for a little paddle. all staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. I would stay again for sure!

Everything was perfect. It's a must if you go to Nong Khiaw. I can say this is the best hostel I've never been, the atmosphere, the mountains, the tranquility... Good value for money, don't hesitate and book.

Loved the stay here! The place has a lovely view, especially in the morning. Hammocks are best to chill during the midday heat. The bed is comfortable and the room was clean :) the location is perfect as it is close by to everything :) we didn't have any prior mentioned noises at night, so I can definitely recommend it :)

For sure the location is great. Over looking the river, close to most everything. Right next to boat dock for up river trips. Room was comfortable and clean. I had a top floor room which had a fab view. Breakfast I can’t comment on as there is a great cafe a stone throw away with great coffee and I am not a big breakfast person anyway. Nong Khiaw is a very cool little backwater village. Great massage place maybe 100 meters from Arthith down a short alley. And Anna and her mom were the greatest hosts.
The room was big and beds comfortable. The view was also great! Location was good, it's close to the bus station and in about 10 minutes walk you could get to the main restaurants etc in the village "center" :)
It’s a fine location. Although the best option is actually staying Muang Ngoi. All the tours from Nong Khiaw to caves and trekking all take you there. You can catch the boat for 50,000 Kip from Nong Khiaw. Otherwise you’re paying way more for a tour that basically takes you to that village. We found it had better food there as well and more activities. Especially Penny’s place.
