He cooked us a delicious lunch and breakfast and cleaned up after, we didn't need to do anything except enjoy the view, the birdsong and the lovely tranquil atmosphere.

It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!

It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. I had a wonderful stay with Riswan and his family. They truly care about offering the best possible experience to their guests and sharing the beauty of their region. They even managed to organize a last-minute safari for me at a very reasonable price, especially considering how well the day went (great driver, breakfast + lunch included) – $50 for a half day, $95 for a full day. As for the wildlife, I was lucky not only in the park but also around the village where the guesthouse is located. It’s not uncommon to see one or even several elephants passing by – though of course, that’s up to Mother Nature! Overall, a fantastic experience. A big thank you to Riswan and his brother for their kindness and for taking the time to help me plan my route. Good to know: there’s a local bus that runs from the village to Puttalam for 150 LKR, 1h, starting around 7 AM, with connections to many other destinations from there.

The hotel arranged us a tour and we had an unforgettable experience with the safari driver. We saw all the animals in the Wilpattu Safari. Leopards, Elephants, Bears etc. The driver has a great experience about the jungle and the roads. We went 3 kinds of safari in Sri Lanka and this was the best. I think this is the best place to go on a wilpattu safari tour. Very good & appreciate it!!
