The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Everything about Ometepe house was perfect...the friendly staff, the convenient location, the comfortable beds, and that pool was so refreshing. I will definitely be back at some point. Amazing, fun and super helpful staff! They helped us arrange transportation on our day trips, made sure we are safe and not over charged. They prepared us possibly the most delicious breakfast ever! The room was super clean, it had AC but even without it, it had a very nice temperature. The beach is a 3-minute walk away so are shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

The room was cozy and tidy, the common areas are very pretty and clean. The price is great, most of the places to stay in this area are very expensive but this one isn't. The staff was very friendly, they let us stay after the checkout so that we could spend some more time at the beach. They also recommended a place to go for dinner where we had a good time :) The beach is beautiful, it has a very wide coast and naturally formed pools.

This was a unique experience open to the elements - be prepared for the sound of waves crashing, wind, insects etc protected well at night by the mosquito net over the bed. Che is very helpful and nothing is a problem. Highly recommend it provided you are prepared for what is on offer.
