You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

You couldn’t hope for a better host than Navin. He doesn’t do it for business but for the pleasure to welcome and share his culture, and you can trully feel it. I got to spend 3 dinners with his family, he showed me his yoga/meditation routine and he took me with him for all the prayers/ceremony in the early morning (+many teas and talks). All of that in just one day! The homestay is PERFECTLY located, there is a rooftop and hot shower. The dorm is quite small but beds are comfy, with curtains, own fan and power socket. If you want to expérience the local life, you have your place.

I liked it all. specially very kind owner and the easy way to get there and from there anywhere around.. kitchen is very nice and also bathroom, there is extra balcony and on the inner side of house and great window view to busy street and main durbar square.. bed is very nice and the overall first impression was very clean and comfortable, as well as it was during my all 5 night stay. thank you

Friendly family and host! They cooked delicious local food! I felt like home with warm welcome from them and can feel the hospitality from them.
