This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can access the apartment via private entrance. This rooftop studio was a great place to stay for a week in Kathmandu. It is in the historic/old city part of Kathmandu, but it's easy to get a bike or taxi nearby. The room is clean, comfortable, and furnished well. There is a kitchen, though I didn't end up using it. The bathroom is clean and modern, and it was really great to have a washing machine too. Sudarshan ji and his family are very kind and helpful! Make sure to bring earplugs, because the area gets quite loud from around 5 am onwards (roosters, dogs, temple bells, etc.) But that's part of the vibe!

Sauraha
Boasting mountain views, Bamby Chilling House - Feel The Nature offers accommodation with a garden, around 2.5 km from Tharu Cultural Museum. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation provides room service and a housekeeping service for guests. Super positive experience 3 great reason to stay here. 1st - the staff was so trusting and helpful to help in booking the jungle tours in advance. They can arrange everything from jungle walk, jeep safari, cultural tour, bus booking to kathmandu, pre-packed breakfast and short commute via tuk tuk to chitwan city. And best of all the price is super reasonable. 2nd - the calmness of the resort especially viewing the river at anytime of the day. If you want a good connection with nature, river and appreciate some silence from heavy music. This is the best place to be in. It has limited units of cabins, which means less number of humans. And they have several sheltered verandahs for one to sit and appreciate the river view. It feels tranquil , peaceful and nature feel. 3rd - the jungle walk is a must and highly recommended. We are accompanied by 2 guides who brought us to canoe river trip followed by jungle walk resting in several tree top inside the jungle. For us who are rather unfit, we think half a day especially noon to evening will be good enough for the walk. We took the full day and recorded 26K steps for the day , feeling rather tired at th end of day. The evening jungle walk was an adventurous one as we had a close encounter in spotting a wild rhino from a distance. The guide prioritised safety and got us to leave together once we got a nice shot of the rhino on phone. Walking on safari observing animals that might pop up amidst the sunset view at the safari was a truly memorable one. Please do leave a tip to the guides as they are really dedicated professional and nice.

Among the facilities at this property are full-day security and a housekeeping service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers private check-in and check-out, and currency exchange for guests. Our window view was of a temple, and you are literally two blocks from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

Beautiful place to stay in Sauraha, I enjoyed everything. The family here are the best people, they made me feel so comfortable and I really appreciated it. They help you in all the ways the can and make you feel at home like you are part of their family. The food is very good and they have a large choice for everyone's appetite. I also loved doing jungle walks with them, everything is very well organised. I ended up doing five days of walking in the jungle, which were wonderful. They also propose jeep safari, Tharu cultural visit and many other places to visit. The place is also very well located close to the river so you can get there in the morning or evening and spot many wild animals. It is in a quiet part of the town and the rooms beds are very good so you sleep well. I loved to stay there and thank you very much for everything. Greetings from paradise

The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The place is clean, well-maintained, and in a great location in Bhaktapur. But the best part was the host – kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain things, show me around, and give great local tips. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and pleasant stay!
Our stay at Sapana Village Lodge was fantastic. One of the highlights was the opportunity to observe and interact with the rescued elephants. Every morning and evening, we could watch them taking a bath in the river, and we also participated in the feeding activity in the morning. The staff at Sapana Village Lodge are incredibly nice and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available with a smile.
Great hostel is nearby Osel Ling. Location is good for Tergar student and someone who wants to explore village life there. The owner always welcomes us with his smiling face at night. He is always hardworking and nice. The hostel is clean and comfortable because of his hardworking and responsible. I can feel safe there even though I am a girl travelling alone. Laundry service is good, too. I love the morning sun and air there. Great place ro stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at Bhanjyang Village Lodge. The room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and bedroom were both spacious. It was very clean and well-maintained. The garden and restaurant area is very pretty and invites you to spend your day there with reading and chilling. The food is excellent and at night it‘s super quiet. I can totally recommend this place.
We loved our stay at Chiwan Village Resort. The rooms were very nice, the beds very comfortable ( good hard mattresses ) . The service was excellent. Delicious food. Beautiful garden. The staff and the owner had been absolutely wonderful. We would love to come back
If you are looking to escape the busy and noisy Pokhara and are keen to try the homestay experience this is the place to be! The whole family is extremely caring of guests and makes a huge effort in providing all they need - home grown organic food. Kabi is also happy to share personal stories. Bonus point is also the opportunity to experience life in a Nepalese village.
The most wholesome experience I’ve had in Nepal and actually ever during travelling! If you want to experience Nepali culture and local life look no further! Such a lovely family who takes you into their home in this little village up in the hills. We cooked together (always vegetarian btw), got a village tour, learned a lot about rural agriculture, tried on traditional Nepali dresses, hiked to a waterfall and swam in the river. The price per night included accomodation, all the meals & activities.
Probably one of my favourite retreats in Nepal. They have one of the kindest and the most attentive staff. And the villas are amazing!
What a beautiful place!! Amazing people, delicious food (best dal bhat we had during 1 month in nepal) and a nice river to go swimming or rafting. We felt super welcomed and would recommend it to everyone, go there if you want to experience nepal’s hospitality and explore a local village.
Perfect holiday home.
