Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the most amazing hotel experience we ever had - it was like paradise on steroids! First of all, the location was killer. Right in front of the beach with waves crashing, it was so surreal and peaceful (no need for a white noise machine like I do in Brooklyn). I felt like a mermaid basking in the sun, with the ocean as my soundtrack, while the cutest baby sloths, colorful birds, and other amazing animals were doing their thing, adding to the beauty. It was like living in a Disney movie! But let me tell you, it was the hosts (Simon and Wendy) who really stole the show. These guys were the most adorable, hilarious and attentive people I've ever met. They had us in stitches every day, cracking jokes and making sure we were having the time of our lives. I felt like I was staying with family! The staff (that are like family to Wendy and Simon) was equally amazing - always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. And let's not forget about the hotel's furry ambassadors, the cutest dogs ever: Jack and Lucky! They were so friendly, and I swear I sometimes spent more time petting them than sunbathing. Honestly, I never wanted to leave this place. I could have stayed forever, sipping on spicy Margaritas, doing my morning meditation on the beach and listening to the waves. If you're looking for a fun and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't regret it! Oh and the restaurant of the hotel is the best too, will need another review on that.

Free private parking is available and the apartment also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Perfect location just at the edge of town, within walking distance or a quick $1 cab. Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.

The view was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the serene ocean and lush greenery was pure magic. The attention from the hosts was warm, thoughtful, and truly made us feel at home. The casita was beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything we needed, from a cozy kitchen to comfy beds and a peaceful outdoor space. It’s the perfect tropical escape, combining comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to come back!

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. Great accommodation between sea and jungle, away from the city hustle. The only sound you hear are the sea waves and birds. The room was spacious and comfortable, the patio with kitchen was a huge plus, especially during rainy days. We loved that they changed our bed sheets every 2 days, which nowadays doesn't happen even in 4 or 5-star hotels. Nadia and Salvatore go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave us a lot of tips for our tours and ways to explore the island. I can definitely recommend this place and would book it again!

This is the ideal BnB for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. The free bike provided by the accommodation made it easy to reach the city center in just a few minutes. Not only was the Dolphin Bay Hideaway the most beautiful location we have stayed at in Bocas del Toro, but Brian and his team were also the most welcoming and attentive hosts we have met during our travels. The scenery is breathtaking, surrounded by rich nature and abundant wildlife, and the food was simply outstanding. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—like early morning coffee, the relaxed atmosphere of just spending time at the Hideaway, and the freedom to shape each day as we wished. Brian is a truly remarkable host: knowledgeable, generous with his time, always ready for a friendly chat, yet never intrusive. We left feeling not only rested and inspired, but also deeply grateful for such an unforgettable experience.
