When I first arrived into the room I was gobsmacked at how gorgeous it was. Huge windows next to bed, a cute little balcony area too with stretching views of the ocean, the mountains and the village. Sunset was particularly gorgeous, highly recommend sitting on balcony or bed and watching the sly change colour as the sun goes down. The clouds were insanely beautiful! Room itself was very nice layout, loved having the bed next to the window and the TV worked well. Bathroom was clean and cozy. Location wasn't as hard to find as I was expecting, just got a taxi to drop me off on the main road behind, near the temple. Walked down a small road past an empty basketball court, kept going down following the signs. Its about a 5 min walk. Perfect location to enjoy Jiufen old street!

Sunshine B&B is about a 2-minute walk from Jiu Fen Old Street and an 11-minute walk from Jioufen Gold Mine Museum. Ruifang Railway Station is 11 minutes' drive away. The view was fantastic, and the room was exceptionally clean and spacious! While carrying our bags up to level 3 was a bit challenging, it wasn’t a major issue. We absolutely loved our stay! The family running the hotel were incredibly friendly and lovely, making the experience even better.

Beautiful views, from the room and especially the breakfast area on the third floor. kind and helpful staff, sparkling clean rooms, a little light on sound insulation but other guests were quiet so this wasn't a problem (and we expected it based on the building's location, age, and charm)
