Family is nice and inviting. Communicating was a bit hard, I mostly spoke to Han, and he always made sure I was okay. Homestay was a bit a far away from markets or anything else, but you should know that it’s mostly countryside. The good thing is they offer to use the bicycles for free or you can rent the scooters for a fee as taxis or grab are pretty hard to catch one.

Friendly and responsive host with great English, who also arranged an excellent transfer for us from Ho Chi Minh City. The guided walk, bike ride and boat trip were very interesting and enjoyable, they gave us a real insight into local life and we saw no other tourists. Highly recommended.
