This small lodge was really nice in a quiet part of Calvinia.The room was big and very clean.Nice outside sitting after a long drive.Dawn, the owner was very friendly and prepared a nice, fresh breakfast for us.Very reasonable rate for this level of lodge.

Nice small bed and breakfast in a residential suburb that felt safe. Hosts were super friendly and professional. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed and good aircon. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend for anyone stopping in Calvinia. Secure parking too

Very friendly owners. We had a room in the garden, very cosy and practical, with little kitchen and separate bathroom. All very clean. We were happy with the heating and electric blankets because it was vey cold at night. Good and tasty breakfast.

Breakfast was well prepared and sufficient. The heaters in the room were great and the electric blankets were super for these cold nights. After dark (and during load shedding!!) the night sky is absolutely amazing! Thoughtfulness of staff to present my wife with a bunch of wild flowers as we were leaving was much appreciated.
