I extend my highest recommendation <3 IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION – THIS IS NOT A DEFECT I wish to inform anyone that air conditioning is not a standard feature in every room in the castle. In the main castle structure, air conditioning is exclusively available in the LOFT room (the other rooms in the castle are without air conditioning). It was obviously newly refurbished - everything looked brand new. Our room overlooked a street, but it was still very quiet (other than the church bells!). The bed was very comfortable. We were there for two nights and breakfast was at a different location each morning. The first morning it was half a block away at a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a great selection of cold breakfast items (e.g., cheeses, meats, bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc.) and a good quality coffee machine and selection of teas). The next morning was about a five minute walk up to the castle - beautiful! Both indoor and outdoor seating available and the same selection of food and drink, with the addition of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and kind. The accommodation was super charming, spotless, and a perfect size for our family with two kids. The surroundings were stunning – vineyards, chickens, and fruit trees created a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was a real highlight, with homemade bread and fresh eggs from the farm. We honestly wish we had stayed longer, and we’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and family. As a bonus, we even brought home a box of the delicious local wine produced right there on the property!
