This small and pristine clean apartment is a peaceful gem above the city, with a magnificent view to the lake. The apartment has a kettle, a microwave oven and a fridge to ensure a comfortable stay even for a longer period of time. Good facilities and practical location. The area was calm and quiet and moving around with the Ticino ticket was very easy and convenient (bus stop right around the corner). Good base for exploring Ticino, we did a lot of different trips during our stay (easy start by hopping on a bus right in from of the hotel). Short walk down to the waterfront with some restaurants, couple of supermarkets within a couple of minutes by foot. Starting the morning with a breakfast in the garden was a nice way to start the day (excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and local flavours). Friendly and helpful staff. During our stay, the hotel was fully booked but never felt busy or crowded, the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

Easy to reach by bus from the town centre, with a stop right outside the door. Walking distance from the Madonna del Sasso church. Room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view down to the town and the lake. Delicious breakfast in a charming room, with plenty of choice, including homemade jams and pancakes, with eggs made fresh to order. Water, tea, syrups, biscuits and fruit available for free at any time (also coffee and alcoholic drinks to be paid for at checkout). Bed was comfortable . Very good value for Switzerland.

The location is right in the middle of the central piazza area, very close walk to the station and easy to get to bus lines and the ferry. I loved my room, with one side facing into the beautiful private courtyard and the other overlooking the cute shopping street outside. Very nice kitchen, comfortable furniture. Barbara and Urs were so helpful in giving me advice about my trains, and very friendly and warm (comfortable communicating in English). I had my own table in the courtyard. Although there were other guests it stayed very quiet (doesn’t seem to be a party district) and I slept well every night. I would very happily stay here again in the future.
