Everything was great, but the service in particular was outstanding - many thanks to Hilde and Nadine! I mainly stayed here because of the unusual design (I love an old industrial building!) and it did not disappoint on that score. The journey into the city centre was also very easy from SILO; I did it about six times in three days. I chose Basel solely because of its rail connections, but am glad that I took time in the end to explore - it's a wonderful and friendly city.

Gisela and Celestine were fantastic hosts. The house was pristine clear, the bed was very comfortable and they were very helpful not only with check in, parking, breakfast, but also gave a lot of tips and good stories about Basel and their own lives. 1. Issahn is such a beautiful soul. Very kind and very sweet. 2. The property is very clean. You can tell the host takes good care of the place. 3. There are two very comfortable beds in the room. I had a very sound sleep. 4. There’s a TV with several channels and all the modern apps. 5. The nights were very quiet with no disturbance. 6. The location is perfect. Really close to the center with trams a short walk from the property. 7. Great value for money and I would book it again next time I’m in Basel. 8. A very nice a thoughtful gift after the stay. She allowed me to store my luggage after check out for pick up later.
