Esther was an exceptional host. I was worried about the location, but it was so easy to get there. I highly recommend it. Fab breakfast on the balcony with an amazing view. She packed a lunch for us as we were going to miss breakfast. The room was so clean, and the facilities were excellent that included access to a fridge,snacks, tea & coffee 24 hrs. Esther kept hold of our bags on our last day and was just so accommodating at all times. She was very trustworthy & so helpful, we will be back. This is one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. The vintage-style design creates a charming and timeless atmosphere, and the views over the mountains are amazing. The surrounding area is perfect for (easy) walks and exploring nature. The restaurant is very good, offering dishes made with local products and breakfast with delicious homemade bread. The staff is attentive and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back!

If you rent a car the location is perfect, not too far from interlaken, lauterbrunnen and other beatiful places. Also, the view and ambience of the property were very relaxing! Dont forget to try cable car to Brienzer Rothorn, you won't regret it 👍

The location of the hotel is simply wonderfully. The mattresses are perfect allowing to recover from a day of hiking and be ready for the next one 😜. If you are by bike, the hotel has the full equipment for taking care of it as well. On top, the hotel has a restaurant.
