Everything was great! It was a very hot day and we were a bit worried that the tent is too hot to sleep in but by night time the tent got nice and cool and we had the best sleep. Also skinny dipping in the lake is a special privilege there.

The host was very hospitable, the place was nice and clean, there was everything you need. The main room had a very comfortable wooden bed. We really liked the atmosphere of this place, there was a fireplace (stove) in the room, which we really liked, there were two big, very beautiful oak trees in the yard, quiet and peaceful. This is the kind of hosting concept that anybody with a practical and efficient mind-set would love. The studio was in great condition, the check-in procedure and all the tips and suggestions via webapp are great and really useful. You get all the necessary daily stuff(in the kitchen, bathroom, living-room and bedroom) + others that bring the experience to another level. It's just great (charger, bags, water bottle, camera, coffee..) The location is as well good, just at the end of the main pedestrian street in Tartu. The sleep quality we got there was as well good. Totally recommended and we'll be repeating when possible somewhere else.

Tampere Maja is a guesthouse founded by Tartu and Tampere. It is a small cosy house with some 7 rooms. It is very close to the centre but located in a quiet street. There is a gallery on the ground floor. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything one needs. Wifi works well. There is also a kitchen with a kettle and a fridge (and more, but I did not need a kitchen, so I did not check). Breakfast is served from 8 am, it is rather simple but fine. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Tampere Maja and would not hesitate to stay there again if back to Tartu.

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away.
