Excellent location, only a hop, skip and a jump away from the ferry terminal, Tinganes and the Old Town. There is a small market just round the corner and a delicious bakery right across the street. Farther up the street there is also a small jungle gym if you are into calisthenics, as I am. Poul, the host, was such a friendly guy. Will definitely come back one day.

The room was large, very light and spacious. Double bed, table that sat 2 so you could sit and stare out the window at the view, sofa in the room and hooks and coat hangers for towels or coats. The kitchen had enough equipment for cooking my own meals and a frige to store food in. Dry food I stored in my room. Large bathroom and space for parking my car. A short drive into town which would also be walkable. A local grocery store was close by too. The host popped in a couple of times and was friendly.

Highly recommended staying here. We had a very comfortable stay at the apartment, it's clean, spacious and has a good kitchen (for those who want to cook). It's in a great location - a 5-minute walk to the harbour and the centre of Torshavn. Frank (the host) is absolutely wonderful - gives great tips and advice on must dos on the island.

Julius's place is a city gem. It is new, spacious and very clean. Also, nicely warm :) Right next to the building there is a bus stop so that you can reach the center in no time. And big free parking lot as well. Julius is a great host, met us in person despite our plane being late and us arriving really late :) Strongly recommend the apartment.
