Beautiful apartment exactly between town and medieval city. Close to the river Aude. Perfect for me travelling solo. Everything provided in such a cosy space. Full size fridge, hob, microwave, even extras like games and coloured lighting. And a terrace for drinks outside. Absolutely lovely. And at a good price.

This was more of an apartment than a room. Imagine pictures in a magazine and this is what greets you. Beautifully decorated and modern styling both indoors and in the garden pool area. It was clean and fresh. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Secure parking for one car is available. It is slightly out of the town centre and castle area. You can probably walk it but it was raining the day we arrived.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

Superb apartment. Everything you need. Very clean and very comfortable. The garden is private and secure with parking. Our hosts, Jean-Pierre and Nicole were very informative and gave us a huge welcome. Always on hand with advice if you need it. Snacks, coffee, and beers in the fridge. Nice touch. We stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. I can't recommend this place enough.

Just everything! It was perfectly furnished, the location just couldn't be better, the Jacuzzi a dream and the atmosphere balanced between history, culture and a feel-good holiday!     La Villa Claudia location is excellent, close to the Canal du Midi, accessible by bicycle via lanes through vineyards. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was clean, modern with access to a kitchen area. Importantly the shower was warm. The breakfast provided was superb. This location would suit cyclists travelling along the Canal, which is only approx 4 klm from Herminis Lock. Pennautier is charming with an historic chateau and winery / restaurant.
