My room was delightful. Tastefully appointed. Clean, comfortable, classy, cosy. I loved the fair trade tea and coffee and the bathroom gels. It was difficult to leave! Please try this lovely boutique hotel experience. Very convenient to the potteries.

Abbey was an excellent host and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The room was modern and well appointed, heated to the perfect temperature and had details of local restaurants for our convenience. We stayed as part of a visit to Alton Towers, which is located a 10 minute journey away and it suited us perfectly. There is a great pub across the road serving nice beers and great pizza / pub food. Super convenient as it is a 30 second walk. All in all, couldn't have been better.

We spent the weekend here with a 6 year old 2 year old. The children wanted to move into the carriage for good. It was a fantastic experience and we got so close to the cows each morning. This carriage was a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. Jayne the host provided all info by text message and shared contact details if needed. Although not iscolated we felt we had privacy and wasn’t on someone else’s land as such. We felt comfortable in the carriage. It was chilly outside all weekend but the carriage was toasty and warm. Everything was provided including towels and fresh milk. There is a restaurant 5 min walk one direction and another pub/food place 5 min walk in the other direction. We liked this as we could leave the car at the farm and walk to dinner as we aren’t confident country road drivers especially at night. Please book this as a couple break or for an experience with younger children. A really bespoke experience. The views from the carriage of lane and country side was out of this world.

Absolutely wonderful house fitted to a very high level with Smart TV and 2 toilets and large kitchen diner. Lovely walk in shower and separate bath. Ideal location with supermarkets and takeaways close by and easy drive into the main shopping and leisure facilities in Stoke including Waterworld which my kids loved. Less than 30 minutes drive to Alton Towers. Easy access on the edge of countryside for short walks with pleasant hills. Easy contact with the owner.

Location and novelty factor good. Photos on line made it look bigger than it was. Outside space great and all you could want outside to use. If t You just wanted to sit out all day, ideal. It was in a lovely setting, peaceful and a great food pub in village.
