Most hikers on the Menalon trail skip Zygovisti - I think this is a great shame, as it's one of the most welcoming little villages I've ever encountered. The house is in the middle of "upper Zygovisti", which means you're immersed in an environment of beautiful mountain and forest views. The house was extremely well stocked with tea, coffee, oranges, fresh local eggs etc. Special bonus was a bottle of local Tsipourou which was really delicious.

This hotel is a hidden gem, hidden deep in the woods of Peloponnesos. The perfect retreat to detox, to enjoy the area of the whole Peloponnesos. I am not often flabbergasted by a hotel, but this time I was. Great views of the mountain and valley from the balcony. The apartment was easy to locate with convenient parking on site. We were kept warm and comfortable with a good heating system and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host and her mother-in-law were helpful and accommodating.

Amazing house in an amazing village. The house is equiped with everything you can need and it is beautifully furnished and decorated. It would be nice to stay in winter one day. The host is great, always available and totally professional yet friendly. We loved the village, you can spend a day wandering through the labyrinth of narrow streets. Will love to return.

Very friendly owner, who wants to do everything to make you feel comfortable. She cooked for us in the evening because the apartment is too far from nymphasia - and the only tavern there was closed. Also breakfast was special!
