We had a great time with Gede and his uncle and wife (who's an amazing cook!), they're such wonderful people. Airport pickup and transport to the next destination wasn't a problem. Gede took us jungle trekking and through the rice fields, it was amazing. The location and view was great too, and the sounds of the jungle at night just so mesmerising. Don't expect city life or anything though, it really is the countryside. Breakfast was also really nice. I definitely recommend staying there!

The owner was really nice and helping us with every request we had. They provide everything you need. The room is simple but super clean and you have a nice balcony with a forest view. The path to the bungalows has a beautiful view over the ricefields. We were really happy staying here.

Excellent location away from the crowds with a magnificent view on the rice fields. Arta gave us a wonderful welcome and gave very good advices. There are some very beautiful walks to do near the accommodation.

It felt like home away from home but within the "jungle". Beautiful sunrise from the balcony, and a very hospitable owner/host whom helped us with every need we had. Gave us loads of information about the country, life, and both him and his family assisted us in every possible way they could. The surrounding gardens and location were very well looked after, with loads of nice features. The open air bathroom is a pleasant surprise with an extra touch of beauty and scenery. For sure the best accommodation we had in 15 days of travelling to Bali.

The stay at the farmhouse was easily the best experience we had in Bali. The rustic cabin is tastefully built and beautifully decorated. There is a lovely outside bathroom, like in many places in Bali. The room is quite large and has a big double bed with mozzie net and a separate single bed. The verandah is overlooking rice fields and a fruit and vegetable plantation. The only sounds you can hear is the running water from the rice fields and the sounds of nature, like lots of frogs at night, and birds during the day. The family who is running the place (at this stage there is only one cabin available) are so lovely and friendly. The sister made us beautifully presented and very tasty breakfasts and dinners every day. In the evenings we would go over to their little house to sit by the fire, play music and sing together, and share stories. There are so many things to see and do around the area, even within walking distance. We had a driver who lives in the nearby village who was also a very good guide and even organised a Gamelan lesson for us in the village. If you love nature, traditional culture and can do without other tourists around, this place is amazing!

I had an amazing stay at this wonderful place! The hosts were incredibly friendly and caring, making me feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade food - they truly have a talent for cooking! The cottage is nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by fresh air and peaceful greenery. At an altitude of around 600 meters, the climate is much cooler than in Denpasar, which was a refreshing escape from the heat. Waking up to the sounds of birds and breathing in the crisp mountain air was an absolute delight. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat with warm hospitality and a touch of nature’s magic, this is the perfect spot
