The Townhouse felt very warm and inviting as soon as I entered and I was welcomed by the lovely owner, Kathleen. My room was comfy, spacious and perfect for my stay. The location too was great as St Patrick's church; my grandparents final resting place, food shops, a windmill and bars to watch the Irish six nations in were all within walking distance. Also easy to get the local bus outside. There was also a sumptuous choice for breakfast daily, which was absolutely delicious. All the staff I met were kind and helpful and allowed my elderly aunt to visit me as she was passing through the area. I'm so grateful as I'd not seen her for around 15 years!

The picturesque town of Carrick-on-Shannon is home to the Aisleigh Guest House. The River Shannon is just a 10-minute walk and bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and TVs.

1 st class accommodation, rooms beautifully furnished. Top quality bed linen and very quiet location The hosts were amazing allowing us to check in early and organising minicabs for us. The breakfast was fantastic, well cooked top quality ingredients well presented and served hot on beautiful crockery. We are all looking forward to a return visit

The location was nice right beside the canal and only a 5 min walk to the Richmond inn where I went for my breakfast and dinner. The bed was very comfortable and they had lovely table and chairs outside for when I wanted to relax. Rein and Nathan keeps the area lovely for their customers to stay and has all the pods, bathrooms, showers and building with a kitchen and relaxing rooms upstairs spotless clean. Thanks so much Rein and Nathan for letting me stay the two nights I loved it and will recommend it to my family and friends and I will surely be back soon.

It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.

Lovely staff, room, well appointed. As it's an old classic hotel it has some narrow hallways and other charming features. The dining room is fresh and bright. Hot breakfast choices were varied, along with fresh fruit salad, kiwis, scones. Etc
