Mohit GH was one of my best dorm experiences in India. Such a nice, kind host, and a tidy spotless dorm room (I didn't see the other rooms) that I had to myself. It's in a quiet neighbourhood but a close walking distance to all the sites. Great value for backpackers. You helped make my stay in marvellous Sarnath and unforgettable experience!

Wonderful find on booking.com for our stay in Varanasi. We even extend our stay at the hostel. Accommodation by assi gât so very central We have had breakfast on the rooftop which was delicious Room is very clean, has tea coffee facilities in the room as we had private room Lovely shower in the bathroom with plenty of hot water which can be a rare find.... Loved everything about the property very much. It is new and smells good, good bedding, very good shower. All of these are treasures for India and Varanasi. Location is great - walkable to Assi Ghat, a bit secluded from the main road, therefore NOT noisy. Would definitely recommend and I would stay here again if I am back.

This place is an Oasis in the noisy magic Varanasi. We relaxed and enjoyed nature, birds and silence. The staff was always happy to help with any question. It takes 30 minutes to get to the ghats by tuk tuk, 5 minutes walk to the ancient Buddhist stupa and museum. Thank you 🙏

The house has a beautiful antique interior of 200 years old. It feels like going back in time. The house has two rooms, a shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The host, Amit, is a wonderful honest guy, he picked us up from the airport late at night while our flight was delayed. He is there whenever you need him but he knows how to respect your privacy. The location is close to the old city center.

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.
