When looking at the exterior of the building I didn't expect the room inside to be this nice. The room was spacious, very well equipped with everything you need and everything being very high-end quality. It was very clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The location was also a bonus, with supermarket right opposite.

The Barn is located near the village of Vík between the Mýrdalsjölill Glacier and the southern coast of Iceland. This hostel provides free WiFi and complimentary parking on site.

Good location, great shared kitchen and very clean . Only 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets so worked well. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience. Due to our cancelled flight in tne first place and due to dellayed new flight we arrived late at night (like 4AM). Very helpfull, nice and understanding staff! They let us check in ourselfs at night. Our rooms were prepared and heated when we arrived. Because we arrived so late, I asked them for later check out and for lunch pack insted of breakfast. Everything was amazing. They were amazing, definitelly will stay there next time!

Cute cottage with all the supplies we need to cook dinner. The microwave was also very useful. Overall, nice layout and the room was very comfortable for 3 people. The dining area was also nice for us to hang out.

The facility of the Guesthouse is excellent. We were so lucky to get a "very very budget price" to rent this excellent guesthouse at Vik. The lady owner is very nice. She prepared waffle batter for us for the morning breakfast. She also provided homemade jam for us. This is the best Guesthouse during our stay at Iceland.

Everything we needed was provided—coffee machine, kettle, towels, shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads, and more, which made our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. But the best part was the hospitality! The host went above and beyond, taking the time to give us amazing recommendations and even sharing homemade bread, local alcohol, and shark with us.
