When you arrive you enter through a massive gate with a truly amazing view- this makes you realise that you made a right choice to stay here. The host welcomed us with a bottle of Chianti Classico from their vineyard. Apartment is very clean and Tuscan - exactly what we wanted. You can look through the window and stare at a perfect view of the Tuscan valley and hills. You can do it while taking shower too, and trust me you will. Pool is massive and view from the sun beds spectacular. Even though there are two other apartments next to you, the pool was almost always for private use as people are travelling. There is a gorgeous small town (one of the most beautiful I have seen in Tuscany) with a few restaurants 200m from the apartment. Two of them are totally amazing (we visited one of them at least 3 times during our 6 nights stay) Truly lovely stay for us :) Dog's friendly.

The setting is perfect, nestled in country whilst close to places of interest. Barbarino val d'elsa is a beautiful village 2 mins by car or 10 mins walking distance from the accommodation. The house is rustic and ancient but with modernisation to ensure comfort. Alberto greeted us, as we arrived, with a warm welcome. This is a family run business and they all go out of their way to ensure you, the guests are satisfied. There were gifts of Chianti and oil from Due Piani, appreciated and enjoyed, we bought oil for gifts as it is delicious. Plentiful bedding and towels. Clothes Washing and drying facilities. Beautiful grounds to enjoy. Private parking. We saw wild deer and wild pig wandering through the vines. The views are amazing and for relaxation this place can not be beaten. We visited Florence, Sienna, Montepulciano and enjoyed our day trips. Would highly recommend and would love to return

I loved everything about this place! It is definitely a typical Tuscany villa - rustic, very cosy, and.. italian! We had a very nice room in the second floor, which was overlooking the dining area and the pool - we truly loved it! The personell was friendly, the breakfast buffet was great (with fresh baked pies! ). There was nothing to ask more.. The restaurant was also great, always full so You should book a table in advance!
