It had a nice feel to it. On a quiet street and a short walk from the train station. Everything is newly finished by the owner himself, who is interested in sustainability and local community. The bed was comfortable and the sleeping pod was spacious and well designed. The pods give yiu privacy even if you’re staying with others in the shared room. I had an enjoyable night and this was a good value for money. Beyond that, Takumi (owner) was super friendly and accommodating. His property is a DIY place that he’s built out and is a fun place for building a community. There is a central area to sit and eat, which is a nice way to meet other travelers. If you’re traveling through and want to meet locals and others, I think this would be a great little hub.

The place was spacious enough for our little family with plenty of room for the kids to run and play without fear of them breaking anything. The Cubby house was awesome with a project cinema and heating great for a movie night. And it provided provision for pets too. Best stay we have had in Japan.

Ben and Kaya were both great, friendly and committed hosts. My partner and I had a great and relaxing time on a 1 minute walk from the beach. The hosts were so friendly to share most sourrounding restaurants and the nearest Onsen with us. We could always reach them directly via chat if we had any questions. It's also possible to cook your own food. All cooking facilities are available. To conclude: if you love the beach and enjoy Japanese culture in a more rural place, then we definitely can recommend you to stay here.

The hosts were amazing, so lovely and accommodating they made us feel at home. The whole place has a very nice and comfortable homely vibe. Location was great - very close to shops, restaurants, train station and beach. Very clean and nice view of the ocean from our room too! Would definitely come back again.

Warm hospitality with affordable rates! We even received cut fruits and homecooked food. You can use the private bath according to allocation timeslots! You may use it more than once a day if there are more available slots. The bath is great, and you can hear the birds chirping. The manager is so kind and friendly that she will be your temporary mom in Atami! You'll feel at ease here! Highly recommended to those who love a homely feeling!
