The owners are some of the nicest persons I've met in Japan. They helped us a lot and made the stay perfect and turned it in a good memory of pur trip. The room was clean and spacious. Everything was perfect. The place is near to a beautiful park and 10 minutes walk from a JR station. There's also a nice onsen just 2 stations away.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was really welcoming the onsens are great and for private use. The food was amazing. The room had all the possible comfort you can imagine. This stay was not cheap but worth the money.

Countryside, quiet and peaceful. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything, and I helped myself to hotpot. Bicycles are available, too. Absolutely loved the traditional Kotatsu table and futons. Bathtub was neck-deep. Self checkin similar to abnb style. Easy!

The hotel is accessible by public transport, about a twenty minutes walk from either of two train stations. Plenty of local places to eat, or a supermarket near by for vegetarian friendly options. It's a good base for day tripping to Koyasan or for the one day hiking pilgrimage from Jisomin Temple. The staff are really thoughtful, the accomodation clean and comfortable, I couldn't fault it really.

We had an unforgettable stay at Satsuki! The host is truly a heartwarming person – incredibly kind, caring, and always there when you need help. After we got lost while hiking, he kindly came to pick us up. We also had some amazing, heartfelt conversations with him – such a beautiful and thoughtful soul! He speaks perfect English and gave us great insider tips and restaurant recommendations. Thanks to him, we had the best Okonomiyaki at a nearby local spot – so delicious and unique! It was a completely different experience from Tokyo, where things often felt more impersonal. Here, everything was filled with warmth and sincerity. We also enjoyed a typical Japanese breakfast, which was simple, delicious, and such a special experience. It’s those little moments that make a Japan trip feel truly complete and authentic. The house is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for hiking. There are supermarkets nearby, and the whole area has a romantic and relaxing vibe. It’s an ideal place for couples, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet break from the big cities. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to coming back. I wish I could have stayed longer in the temple! A very authentic experience with the room only being heated by a heat pump. Great location in the middle of all of the attractions. The food experience was also amazing: sitting on a mat in nicely decorated chamber with bamboo walls separating from other members staying in the temple. I also had the chance of bathing in the onsen which was amazing to have it onsite!

Miyuki was wonderful: very helpful; charming and a terrific cook! The place could be a little hard to find but Miyuki picked us up at the station and it turns out there's an easy 15-minute walk to Suda station that's not on Google maps. It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)

Traditional Japanese accommodation, quaint but well-equipped inside. Air-conditioning, mattresses to sleep on the floor, sofa, well-equipped kitchen, great shower with good hot water and pressure, washing machine, microwave oven, no convection oven (but inductio hob and a grill), fridge-freezer, umbrellas provided. Toilet had no heating and there was no bidet (not a 'Japanese toilet'). Separate from the shower. About 10 minutes' walk to the nearest train station to take us into Osaka. Taxi from airport 9,000 JPY. Very scenic surroundings with a stream adjacent, a temple nearby, cafe, etc.
