The lady that owned the house was lovely! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated her booking us into a restaurant in the area and telling us about the local onsen. I'm sorry this review has come so late!

Lovely spot, perfect for an overnight stay on the Shimanami Kaido bike ride as it's around the halfway point. Owner was super friendly and recommended a great nearby restaurant for dinner!

Our favourite stay of our holiday. Wonderful hosts, a beautiful home that was much bigger than expected. The restaurant downstairs was excellent, wonderfully fresh food prepared with care.

An authentic home restored beautifully by Dani and Evan! The touches of original furniture and vintage furnishings really set this house apart from anywhere else I have stayed in Japan.
