it’s self sufficient, facilities are new and functional. place is clean and neat. reasonable distance from Nikko station. convenient stores are nearby. option to even do cooking and bbq. neighbourhood is quiet. manmade hot spring is a good alternative to onsen.

Mariko's kindness is absolutely outstanding, even for Japanese standards. She is one of the best, if not the best host we have ever had the luck to meet. She even prepared a delicious breakfast for us and drove us to the train station because we were in a bit of a hurry. The lodging is simple yet lovely, cozy, in a great location and super clean. So top choice, you won't regret it!

Lovely appartment with a very good location (very close to the train station). It's very clean, it has everything we need : all furnitures in the kitchen, bathroom (wachine machine) and even games in the livingroom! Beds are very confortable, and the paintings in the bedrooms add something really cosy to the room. The guest is really nice and helped us organise our trip with really good tips. Everything was perfect !

Sanga Nikko was perfect. It was off-season, so it was very quiet, but Yoshi made us very welcome. The place is absolutely spotless and has everything you need. Location is great, a few steps from the train station and main street and a very short walk to the major sites around Nikko.

It was an excellent stay. The location is very convenient for exploring Nikko and the inn has amazing river views. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The best part about our overnight stay was the owners - really warm, friendly and welcoming, gave us great information on places to see. Overall it was a highlight of our trip, much better than any hotels. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be coming back to this inn on our next trip to Japan.
