Truly a memorable stay. Cho-San was a most gracious and engaging host (he also speaks very well English); the place is beautifully and smartly done, all very thoughtful and caring. Left looking forward to going back; a good example of why I love travelling in Japan.

We stayed one night during a 2-day trip to bike the Shimanami Kaido. The location was great; beautiful neighborhood of Setoda, close to the port. Close to Kosanji temple and shops & restaurants. The room was really comfortable and roomy for relaxing after a bike ride. Loved the tatami sitting area. The onsen is open for hotel guests after it closes to the public.

Everyone is not only extremely professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. The attention to detail was impeccable. The dishes of chef Akita were amazing. Lovely quiet location with all the amenities needed. A beautiful property with excellent facilities and a great host, who made sure we understood how to access the building and checked later that we were happy and didn't need any help operating equipment etc. as most instruction were in Japanese BUT we all have Google Translate now .... don't we .... so not a problem.

    The location was excellent and perfect for the part of our trip where we went cycling. Staff were accommodating and friendly. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept very well with no noise disturbances that previous reviews have mentioned.

    The location is beautiful, though marred slightly by the sights of cranes and construcion occupying half the lovely view outside the window. This is cheap, for such a lovely spot amongst all the best Onomichi sights. Easy to access, with friendly staff.
