What a beautiful hotel! As travellers from Australia, the staff were so accommodating with the language barrier, and were so warm and welcoming. The buffet was absolutely incredible, facilities perfect, games room for our 6 year old, even a shop! The candy station was also a big hit! Definitely would reccomend!

The location and facilities were amazing, especially the bath was great after a day of skiing/activities in the snow. The kitchen and laundry machine/dryer were also very useful. The best part of our stay were the owners, as they are incredibly friendly and helpful! They were especially kind to help me when I got a bit sick, bringing a humidifier to our room and preparing a healthy dinner and ginger-based drink for me, as well as providing some medicition for my sore throat. You can tell that the owners really care about their guests and make sure to make all of them feel at home.

The hospitality was amazing and all staff members where super helpful and friendly, despite us not knowing Japanese super well but the staff always did well to communicate with us, the cafe was super cute and had some really delicious food. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and super comfortable even had a beautiful view from the window every morning! It was also in walking distant to some nice onsens, foot baths and other delicious restaurants! Definitely recommend if you're wanting to stay there in the colder months.

The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.
