Well placed, roughly five minutes from the main Ikebukuro station and within walking distance of Sunshine City. It’s on the Yamanote line too, so easy to get to major travel locations like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, my group was three people and we had a good amount of space and were very comfortable. There’s cooking and entertainment facilities in the room, which was nice when we were tired and just wanted to relax in the evening. Of note — hotel rooms in Tokyo are notorious for being quite small and cramped, but the rooms at Mimaru are huge by comparison. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

This hotel is ideal for families - we stayed in a spacious tatami family suite. The kitchenette was incredibly handy for light meals, and the location is close to lots of convenience stores and walking distance to the Asakusa temple and tourist area. Lots of restaurants within a few blocks! The hotel is VERY clean and we especially loved the separate shower room from the bathroom/toilet so no wet bathrooms. :) If you are traveling with children, this hotel is ideal!

Rosenheim Stay Tokyo Shinjuku is conviniently located between Okubo and Shin Okubo station, just a cople of minutes from bustling Shinjuku, but in a calm and safe area, perfect for families. The rooms are not very big but very practical and clean and the staff is extremly nice and helpful.
