I recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.

Apart than the house being really beautiful, each time discovering another artistic detail, the location was perfect and central to beach and touristic attractions yet also a high end residential area. I asked for a pancake breakfast and it was delicious and the hosts were a couple that were inviting, friendly and always eager to help. I unfortunately only booked 2 nights but upon arrival I took pictures of this gem and sent it to my close friends. I am lucky to have found this place and will most certainly come back

Clean, modern and extremely spacious rooms. We arrived at 1 AM and the staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly. The property is so quiet despite being next to a road. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back! Many thanks to Bagya and Madhu for their hospitality.

Great value for the price. Located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of Colombo. The host was very friendly and approachable, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and tidy. If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.
