We stayed here for one night. The next day we went on a safari which was a new experience for us. They provided us with a very good jeep and a good driver.. Very nice rooms and it was very clean. The staff is very helpful. They brought us from Ella and dropped us back to Weligama for a very reasonable price. Everything was very good.

Arriving at Art Yala my mouth fell open. Located at the lake with a beautiful terrace and the interior design could be found in a magazine. With the most delicious vegetarian rice & curry, a bathroom like a ballroom hall and a bed where you never want to come out made clear that my stay was too short. And the safari with the best and most friendly guide Dulitha made it complete. Thank you!

Just everything. Really nice apartment, specially equipped for western turists, with hair dryer, toilet brush, drinking water, big room and bathroom, with big patio in front of the room, plus swimming pool. What else can you wish more. It was the best experience during my trip in Sri Lanka. Big bonus was also Janaka, resort manager who organized Safari in Yala for us.

Gayan was a fantastic host and he does so much for his guests, e.g. getting you to places close to his location and pick up again, a short evening lake tour, organize different things upon requests of guests, etc. all without additional costs. Highly recommended!

I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay at yala wild Beach huts. The owner and the team are lovely. The tents/huts are new and super comfy beds in a really quite unspoilt location. Very close to the entrance to yala national park. The food has been amazing with endless amounts of it too much food for us to eat you will never go hungry. We were offered tea and coffee and bottles of water all the time and when we went to yala and the temple tour we were given fruit, coffee, biscuits and chocolate milk for the kids. We opted to stay for 2 nights and we were glad we did as it gave us time to go on a second jeep trip to the temples and see more elephants outside the national park. Along with crocodiles and monkeys. Our driver was great and really enjoyed all the trips even going for a last minute beach trip and over the sand dunes. He went out of his way to try and find lepards for us. Roy our guide was incredible a great character who clearly loves his job and nature and his knowledge of sri lankan history is brilliant and very enjoyable to listen to. Along with morning nature walk around the camp We all agreed that this has been our favourite place in Sri Lanka on our trip and I would highly recommend a 2 night visit or longer if you have time. Going to sleep and Walking up to the sound of the birds an nature was amazing. The owner has great plans for the future of yala wild huts and its alread great and will only improve furter there is an obvious passion and love for the area and nature and to give guests an amazing experience Thanks again for an amazing experience we could not be happier and will recommend to anyone we know who is travelling to sri lanka

Excellent accomodation! Before our travels, we got contacted by tharindu who helped in providing bus schedules to arrive to the accomodation, as well as arranged a safari with hotel pick up for us. On check-in we were greeted by the very helpful and nice hostess! She woke up early to prepare coffee for us before heading to Yala safari, and also prepared us a small breakfast on our return. Also arranged tuk tuk ride to the nearest bus station on our check out. One of the best accomodations we visited in Sri Lanka, with hot water, spacious bedroom and nice river view from terrace. Would definitely recommend!!
