It was a very clean and beautiful accommodation. The garden has a mango tree and we even saw some monkeys. A few steps away is a local vegetable and fruit market, we enjoyed. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! It was cooked by the hosts. They even helped us to buy something we lost on our journey and what is very hard to get in this area of Sri Lanka. Additionally we got great sight seeing insides. This guest house was.perfect for us.

Perfect peaceful getaway! Sunrise Lake in Polonnaruwa is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The view of the lake, especially during sunrise, is breathtaking so calm and peaceful. 🌅 The cabanas are clean and cozy, and the garden around is well kept. The owners are super friendly and treat you like family. Their homemade breakfast was delicious simple, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s a great spot to unwind, watch the birds, and enjoy nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Polonnaruwa worth every minute! ❤️

Our room was clean and spacious and had a lovely view over paddy fields, it was close to the centre of Polonnaruwa so we could walk around and explore and find dinner nearby. We only stayed one night but it was nice and we had a tasty breakfast again overlooking a beautiful view. I would recommend it if you need a stopover in Polonnaruwa. We explored the ancient city from here.
