Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

It's a great place to start or end your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

Our arrival at Srilanka could not have been more perfect thanks to these hosts, Sharmila and Sampath. Two wonderful human beings that clearly put all their love into this lovely Villa. Everything was perfect, the room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious, but the very best thing about it really was the kindness of the owners. Thank you!

What a place to acclimatise from the UK into the Sri Lankan weather and pace of life. We stayed for two nights. From the very much appreciated complimentary pickup from the airport, to the happy friendly team lead by Nishantha Fernando delicious fresh and tasty Sri Lankan and European choices all cooked and seasoned beautifully. The gardens are kept immaculately and are beautiful for an early morning wander watching the birds, we enjoyed the pool which was a perfect temperature, I would not hesitate to recommend that you stay here.i believe that this villa has only come on to the hotel market but as the staff are all experienced we encountered no problems at all. Don’t hesitate if you’re wondering about booking as I am pleased I booked.

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Guest room with their own bathroom with shower. Very nice family, the woman cooks great dinner and a good breakfast with all the wishes. The air conditioning works well, clean room + bathroom with warm water. Very comfortable and clean bed. The owners have many tips and are happy to help you.

The place was very unique. Simply one of the most outstanding places with much more freedom to spend your time. Staff is very helpful indeed. Sea view with sound of the waves and wind add up some aesthetic flavour to the enjoyment. Everything was fine for the budget and obviously with no worries.

The location is perfect for a budget beach experience and the hosts do everything possible to welcome you and help. I particularly enjoyed my conversations with Max. He is a very hands on person with a lot of practical experience how things work in Sri Lanka.
