Breathtaking views, stunning resort and great food. My only regret was spending just 1 night. If you come, stay for mor, this hidden gem is incredible.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a charming room nestled within a stunning palmetto grove, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that every detail had been meticulously attended to, both inside the room and throughout the enchanting garden. The interior of the room exuded a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The decor was tastefully chosen, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the carefully selected furnishings to the thoughtful placement of amenities. It was evident that the hosts had put considerable effort into ensuring guests felt comfortable and pampered. Stepping outside, the garden was a true highlight of the property. The palmetto grove created a serene and picturesque backdrop, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The well-maintained garden featured a delightful array of flora, contributing to the overall beauty of the surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy moments of tranquility. While the culinary offerings were described as "in the norm," I found them to be satisfying and enjoyable. The meals were well-prepared, showcasing a decent variety of flavors that complemented the overall experience. Although not extravagant, the food certainly met expectations and added a pleasant touch to the overall stay. In conclusion, my stay in this palmetto paradise was nothing short of delightful. The careful attention to detail, both indoors and outdoors, created a memorable and rejuvenating experience. I would highly recommend this hidden oasis to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in a beautifully curated setting.

If you’re looking for an authentic place to stay away-from-it-all in the Draa Valley, I would really recommend Maison d’Hote J. A cosy room with a terrace overlooking the eden-like palm grove in this semi-abandoned village near Agdz. Quiet and peaceful - and with Ismael, a helpful and friendly host.

Just AMAZING - best place we stayed at in 2 weeks travelling through Marocco… Like all the other travelers said - wish we would have stayed more than one night. Absolutely spotless, and on point with all the details but the from, but also the outdoor spaces. Lights and hocks in all the right places 🤩🩷🤩 Beautiful decoration, spacious room, spotless, nice smells, super quiet. Best sleep on the entire trip. Also walkable to the Medina, which was such an unexpected cool surprise, busy like Marrakech, but without the Tourist touch. Massive thank you also to Pierre, for the recommendation with regards to the Carpet Cooperative in Talouste - I think we made a good deal and are exited how this massive carpet will look and feel back home. A truly magical experience. First — exceptional food! Saida is a remarkable cook — breakfast breads were sensational (fennel brioche and stuffed flatbread were particularly good) as was dinner tagine with quince; and date and lime lemonade. Then, there is the whole adventure of staying at the ksar: from arriving in the dark to the tour the next morning, which took us around the ksar and the palmeria. Saida and her husband and incredibly attentive. It was a privilege to stay with them.

This one was one of the best stays we had in Morroco. The owner was fantastic and we shared many conversations. If you are interested in an adventure you can also talk to him :) The house was beautiful, renovated between all the old ruins and we found out he did this with the help of international people from work away , such a fantastic project 😍 If you want a calm authentic stay this is your place! In shallah we will be back! This could be the place of the start of our new adventure 😀
