The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

A heartfelt thank you to Daoud and his wife for the truly memorable stay! This place feels like home, with a cozy family atmosphere. It's simple in the best way, nothing overly fancy, but it has everything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Mhamid. From the camp, it's just a short walk to some beautiful nearby dunes, which made for such a fun and unique experience! And the food, wow. Without a doubt, the best we've had in Morocco! Every meal was a surprise, with creative, flavorful, and varied dishes that we couldn’t get enough of. Daoud also organizes treks into the Sahara, and if you’re looking for an authentic adventure paired with interesting conversations, this is the place to be. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco, and we can’t recommend it enough. Wishing you all the best for the future, and we hope to see you again someday! We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

Stayed a whole week at desert bivouac and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Don’t miss this opportunity to stay at Madani’s desert bivouac. The camp situated in a beautiful peaceful garden amongst the sand dunes was restful, quiet and mesmerising. Madani also offers to take people out into the great dunes of Erg Chigaga which was AMAZING! Eating the best food I had in Morrocco drinking the best tea I’ve ever drunk and sleeping under the stars, drinking fresh camel milk and seeing a baby camel right after it’s been born will be a memory I will have for the rest of my life. Nadjii who works there is an absolute legend and I always felt incredibly welcomed and enjoyed his energy very much. I had a little disagreement with Madani about having to pay to use the kitchen but I quickly realized you can’t take things for granted in the desert, things don’t come as easy and gas is very expensive! The food is also some of the best you’ll have in Morrocco so I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to order a Tagine. Thank you again Madani and Nadjii you guys are the best! Will try to return again one day Inshallah!

Riad Imuhar is the most beautiful place to stay. Hamid built this superb guesthouse with the help of another local craftsman from traditional materials of this area ; Clay plaster over clay bricks , Clay wall interiors with dappled light brown and red hues, such a beautiful natural finish that the grand designs team would be raving about... So much texture , artistic touches everywhere. Large bedrooms with beds thst are so comfortable , perfect pillows . Ornate spacious bathrooms . It's December.and cold here in the mornings and at night. Amazingly , you come through the front door and you feel heat everywhere . There are no heaters ! ..it's the clay walls. Natural storage heaters that emit heat at night and in the summer Vice Versa , the clay keeps the place cool. How about that for eco friendly. Hamid is also a fountain of Knowledge on Amazigh culture. Really Cool. I've learnt a lot from him about the trees that grow in this climate, the language , it's beautiful alphabet. He kniows the desert , has camels and does treks and trips into it. The real deal. He has made me the best meals i've had in Morocco , perhaps ever , garnished with herbs from the garden. A brilliant chef. Large colourful healthy meals..So good. Himself and Maria have been the kindest of hosts. I stayed here an extra day just to be here in this beautiful tranquil house.. You've got the desert outside and can walk right into it..Amazing..so quiet, still ..vast. I highly recomend you stay here. It's beautiful.

Very good experience, Hamza and Yussef were very kind and knowledgeable. In my opinion only the camelride is not really worth it, you will feel a little bit like a dull tourist. Sunset, sunrise and the stars were unforgettable

We loved our stay at chegaga starlight camp. From the beginning onward communication was very easy and everyone was super helpful. We got picked up in a small village by our kind driver Sahel and were brought to the camp (~2h drive) which was off the beaten track. We had a beautiful sunset camel ride with Ali and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Had a delicious dinner and afterwards we enjoyed traditional music and an amazing sky full of stars (including milky way). We can really recommend this place :)
