The rooms are exceptionally clean, done with very good taste. The view is wonderful, there is a very beautiful garden with an explosion of plants where the breakfast takes place. There is also a red sparrow " neighbour" who comes to your table and it's magnificent. But all'n all, from far, the best thing is Jay, the host. We have no words to describe how nice, helpful, solicitous he is. Also, I need to say that it would help to have a rental car or scooter so you can move on the island as the nice beaches are not all walkable distance.

It is a very good place to stay. We liked it very much and we had a great time here. There are many things to see and Meema is a very good host. She also gives information about many things. The host is also a famous singer. He is called Guruji and he teaches many children about Tabla and music. He himself lives in South Africa, but his house is here. We were pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail. All the little extra surprises were great to find. Bed was comfortable and the pool a delight. The owner arranged a great boat trip for us to Ile Aux Cerf and we even hired a car from him for the whole vacation. They made us feel so welcome. He also arranged for us to have an authentic Mauritius dinner. His wife even helped remove sea urchin pieces in my foot. Overall a great stay. Hope to return again soon

Rajesh is an optimal host! He was very welcoming and helped where he could. He helped us book a boat tour to the falls and to Ile aux Cerfs with lunch which was very good. One of the nicest beaches is about 18min drive (in Trou d'eau Douce). The apartment was spacious and clean, we had all the equipment we needed and if we needed anything else Rajesh or his wife were there to help. It's set in a beautiful environment near the river with lots of greenery. There's running hot water, comfy beds, a nice and huge terrace and a lively bird life to watch from the terrace. The aircon is new and working quietly and effectively (in the bedroom). I think a big advantage Rajesh is offering is free pickup/dropoff from/to the airport + he has a car rental company to offer cars at a reasonable price.

We are from a very busy and lively town, so our 2 night stay in this beautiful and quiet place was a blessing. We had a nice time, the apartment was very clean and spacious.
