This apartment was very modern and clean. The view was excellent and the security made us feel very safe. There is a lovely pool and relaxation area just outside the ground floor. this apartment is on the very edge of town so you look over the jungle. It is very easy and cheap to get a 'grab' taxi into the center and to places like Sepilok. Would highly recommend.

We actually stayed here 2 separate times during our trip to Sandakan. We stayed for a couple nights before our overnight trip to Selingan “Turtle” Island and then stayed here again afterwards because we liked it so much and it was perfect for our needs!

New, clean, with all standard amenities, nice neighborhood, many eateries nearby, friendly staff. Although Sepilok is better to stay, but if there are no rooms available there in the price range you can afford, Hotel Prima location is much better than Sandakan city center - it is 15 min drive closer to Sepilok and the neighbourhood is so much better than the city center, more clean, safe, and quite.
