Located in an eco area close to cycle paths and plenty of nature. Room was very clean and comfortable, private access and shared well equipped kitchen. The lodges are in a very quiet and beautiful area, perfect for a calm weekend, and the possibility to use the natural swimming pool is a great plus. The lodge contains all the necessary amenities, a spacious bathroom and is decorated with a lot of taste. The breakfast was just delicious and it is amazing to enjoy it peacefully on our own terrace. Last but not least, the staff is extremely welcoming and kind and do their best to make our stay as great an experience as possible!

Milly could not have been more generous. Great location, picturesque and quiet, but still walkable or rideable to the station. Beautiful garden, generous breakfast and just beautiful Milly, who was so kind and welcoming. Great if you have a car and don’t want to drive into Amsterdam.

Friendly and helpful staff, checked us in quickly despite the online check in not working. Helped us amend the booking to include breakfast as well. It is in front of the train station which meant travelling to and from Amsterdam was easy as well.

Where do I start.. everything was just so wonderful!! At first it was a little hard to find the house because the street leading to Huize Koempoelan is quite easy to overlook and Google maps lead our car in a completely different direction - but as we found the right street we were just amazed to see the house very nicely embedded in nature and surrounded by pretty green trees and meadows. Everything looked way better than expected compared to the shown pictures and we were just blown away! Huize Koempoelan is a place where the hosts planned every tiny detail from beginning to start. You can really see all the love that was put into making this house. The garden is designed in such a nice way with the options to go swimming in a natural pool, sit at a fireplace (or even try out a jacuzzi or sauna if opened) or just watch the sunset from a picture perfect bench on a hill. There were also horses and a super cute dog making the whole atmosphere very idyllic. Just a perfect spot you would search for as a city hide away. The interior of the house is so lovely and the hosts really have a great taste in style. We just loved all the furniture in our room which was very high quality and thought through and everything was just perfectly matching with one another. When we came to our room we got a fresh pressed juice as a welcome drink which was really nice. We felt very welcomed by the hosts who were doing everything they could to make our visit so beautiful. The room we had was very big and had a balcony where we could sit on and the bathroom was also very modern and nicely designed. We also want to highlight the delicious breakfast we got everyday. It was so nicely arranged and the hosts again thought of every little detail here and made it completely vegetarian for us. We definitely can recommend Huize Koempoelan for a romantic getaway for the weekend! Again thank you so much to the wonderful hosts :)

Location was great. We went for Almere city run and the hotel was next to the start/finish line. Parking is very convenient (right at the basement) and cheap. For architecture enthusiasts, the building is interesting. Tip for people who likes walking: take a walk around Weerwater, nature is amazing!

The location is right across from the train station, so that was very convenient. On the other side of the train station is a large outdoor mall, so that was great too. The rooms had high ceilings and large windows, which I love. There is a convenience store across the street that sells lots of pre-made affordable food, so we often got breakfast or dinner there.
